I just can't get enough of gradient colours, they make such a brilliant visual impact on literally everything.

ORGANIC COTTON THREAD

I have always wanted to use more organic materials in my creations, but in reality it's really not so easy to find the right thing with sustainable quality.
Though I came to know those organic cotton thread (GOTS certified!) a while ago, they are made by a Dutch company and produced in the E.U. 
And today I have just received the thread I ordered online, and they are absolutely beautiful!
I can't wait to put my hands on the thread and needle :-)

SUSTAINABLE FIRECLAY

Fireclay tile not only makes beautiful ceramic & clay & glass tiles, but also incorporates as much recycled material as possible into their process of making. They have recently launched new lines of contemporary, Moroccan and Mediterranean hand painted tiles that offer modern aesthetics, sophisticated textures, and pure finishes.

A MODERN TRANSFORMATION

Belgian designer Ramy Fischler transformed this art-deco residential complex known as the ‘Walter Buildings' into a contemporary pied-à-terre. 
I like its combination of elegance and a touch of surreal feel.

STUDY FOR THE NEW PROJECT

It's about time to start a new project for me, so I have spent a few days doing little experiments with new shapes and also combining the embroidery with watercolour & acrylic paint. 
I'm sure there will be more studies coming up before I finally dip myself into the actual work, so please be patient with me :-)
